Asbestos Of The Gods
04:23
|
|||
ASBESTOS OF THE GODS
Asbestos of the Gods fell from the sky (x2)
'Twas no hope for the living
When poison snow fell high and low
If nature was forgiving
It ended then
Never again
Asbestos of the Gods fell from the sky (x2)
'Twas so dark underneath it
That heavy snow from Gods Below
The hot Sun couldn't beat it
Heat made it strong
The whole day long
Asbestos of the Gods (x4)
Asbestos of the Gods fell from the sky (x2)
'Twas no hope for survival
It blocked the Sun
The air was none
The Asbestos arrival
Poison snowfall
It ended all
Asbestos of the Gods

Center Of The Sun

CENTER OF THE SUN
I'm gonna make your bed
I'm gonna rape your head
And when I'm finished fucking mind
I'd like to go away somewhere
And leave your head behind
My blood is cold
And my heart is old
So I need a place to stay
Somewhere to kept me warm at night
When sunlight goes away
I'd like to live inside
The Center of the Sun
'Cause everyone looks up to it
The Sun's the only one
Center of the Sun (x2)
I'll go to outer space
With a happy face
'Cause I think the Sun won't harm
It can't bring back to life what's dead inside
So buy the farm
If it burns me up
Raise your toasted cup
And pronounce you're glad I'm dead
But I think that I'll survive
Unless I'm frozen up instead
I plan to dig a hole
To the core of solar fun
I'd like to live my life inside
The Center of the Sun
Center of the Sun (x4)
I'm gonna rape your head
I'm gonna make your bed
I'm gonna tuck in all the sheets
But there won't be an opening
To the covers underneath
You're gonna hate me more
Walking out the door
But the Center of the Sun
Is calling out to me because
The Sun's the only one
I plan to dig a hole
To the core of solar fun
I'd like to live my life inside
The Center of the Sun
I'd like to leave for good
And I'd love to leave today
I need to be somewhere
Where sunlight never goes away
My blood is cold
And I need heat to stay alive
There is a chance that I'll burn
But I think that I'll survive
I'd like to live inside
The Center of the Sun
'Cause everyone looks up to it
The Sun's the only one

From Leonard Jensky

FROM LEONARD JENSKY
I've never seen him but I think he's real
I've got a box with his name
This address
It's tightly sealed
Should I open it up and see?
The box was here when I first moved in
It said: From Leonard Jensky
My flesh was crawling skin
Was this package meant for me?
I'm so afraid to tear
The barrier of packing tape
There is a possibility
My head is being raped again
I shut the window and I lock the door
I grab the knife from the kitchen drawer
I tear the packing tape
I keep the knife in hand so tight
I flip the lid and I peek inside
The box is empty to relieved surprise
Except a note is taped so close
It's almost out of sight
It says he's here right now
With me inside
Where did he hide?
I have the strangest feeling
Someone died
Where I am standing
Why?
This note from Leonard Jensky isn't good
I'd change it that I found it if I could
But I can't pretend
I don't know that he's here
And I leased it for a year
Today is day one-hundred-eighty-three
At noon the lease is half over
But I have yet to see
That famous Leonard Jensky guy
I'll always worry 'til the final day
And when I'm moving out
LJ will hunt me like his prey
Until the happy day I die
Unless he kills me in the second half
Of the one year lease
I hope it happens soon
So I can finally get some peace in rest

Shouting
02:06
|

SHOUTING
The thunder woke me
In the middle of the night
From a nightmare that I couldn't recall
I closed my eyes again
And tried to fall asleep
But I thought I heard a bell in the hall
The room was silent
Then the bell began to jingle
And the wooden hallway
Floor made a sound
A single footstep broke the silence
I was sweating
It was time for me to stand on the ground
I jerked myself out
Of the warmness of the sheets
And I shivered as my feet hit the floor
I started shouting
Just in case there was a thief
On the other side of my bedroom door
I said:
"You better get out!
Before I shoot you!
You better get out!"
I started to shout:
"I've got a shotgun!"
I started to shout
There was a moment
Of extraordinary silence
Then a gunshot rang out loud in the hall
A speeding bullet
Splintered through my bedroom door
And exploded in the opposite wall
I fell down to my knees
And crawled into the corner
In the closet was a shotgun and shells
I should have loaded it
Before I started shouting
But I thought I mighta 'magined the bell
Instead:
"You're going to die!"
He started shouting:
"You're going to die!
Your threat was a lie!"
The thief continued:
"Your threat was a lie!"
My gun was loaded
In a fraction of a second
And I pointed it at my bedroom door
I heard the twisting of the knob
I pulled the trigger
He was dead before his gun hit the floor
I said:
"You're going to Hell!"
I started shouting:
"You're going to Hell!
Why you wearing a bell?
You motherfucker!
Why you wearing a bell?"

Hole To Hell

HOLE TO HELL
I found a Hole in my backyard
It's very deep
I found it late one night
When I was sound asleep
I woke from sleepwalking
My eyes looked down the Hole
One gust of wind would knock me in
And steal my soul
I stepped away so cautiously
That's when I got down on my knees
I crawled back over to the Hole
And shined a flashlight deep inside it
But I didn't see the end
The bottom was unseen
I found the nerve to try
To crawl into the Hole
It drops diagonally
It's not a straight down fall
The Hole too narrow
For a slow but steady slide
I have to push myself
It's free but not a ride
I pushed my way past water springs
I drank the water and found things to eat
I ate some plants and bugs and worms
And anything else I could find
And I kept crawling down the Hole
I had to see the end
Continued to descend
Saw faint but growing light
Felt heat like fire bright
I found a Hole to Hell
It's very very long
I'm much too tired now
To make my effort strong
To crawl back up to Earthcrust
To see the sky again
Too weak to make return trip
To where I've always been

BUG SPRAY
There's a bug in the rug
And he's burrowing beneath
Get the Bug Spray
He's the biggest that I've seen
In our house, know what I mean?
Do I what I say
Get the Bug Spray
There's a place beneath the sea
It's a place that's clean and free
And if you find out how to go
Please promise me you'll let me know
There's a clue in the room
Where the Hand of Doom
Is holding the Bug Spray
There's a message on the wall
But the words are all scattered
What does it say?
Rearrange the scattered words
'Cause the bugs they come herds
And they survive atomic blasts
And when they fly they're really fast
They fly into your faces
Turn the house up and down
'Til you figure out the sound
That I'm hearing
There's a scratching in the walls
And the cracks in the halls
Are what I'm fearing
There's a place beneath the sea
It's the place for you and me
And when we find out how to go
I promise you I'll let you know
How happy you have made me
There's a house that's not a home
Where the gnat begot the gnome
But there's a Center of the Sun
And there's a world for everyone
So why don't you just take it?

Snowcage

SNOWCAGE
Snowcage
You're trapping animals beneath
Your frozen surface
They break through
'Cause they're heavier than you
Suffer them
Suffocation is the key
Breathing is not an option buried deep
Animals keep away
If you fall you will stay
Buried deep in the snow
Where you don't wanna go
Snowcage
You're taller than the tallest man
I thought that you would
Melt by winter's end
It's summertime
But you're as high as ever, how?
So cold to be around you then and now
Everyone keep away
Snowcage grows every day
Spreading out over land
Try to run but you can't
Because the Snowcage
Isn't slowing its takeover of the planet
Don't you think I tried
To figure out the answer
To the problem set before us
But it's hopeless, 'cause the
Snowcage has been growing very slow
Snowcage
You are a continental drift
Snowcage
The plates are helpless not to shift
Snowcage
You've left me nowhere else to go
Snowcage
I'll be your prisoner of snow
In the Snowcage
Never thought I'd die so lonely
In the Snowcage

BERMUDA TUNNEL
Jimmy left for school
Last summer
But they never found the train
It disappeared into a mountain
It never reached the other side
Of the mountain
But it reached another side
Of our dimension
I've seen time slow down and stop
I've seen time turn around
I've seen time go upside down and out
But when Jimmy left for school
Last summer
He left the world in doubt
Kitty crawled into the crawlspace
But we never heard her cry out or meow
It's like she vanished
Last night I dreamed Jimmy and Kitty
Were riding on a train in Spain
And they were speaking Spanish
I don't speak Spanish but my mind
It must have picked it up subconsciously
And stored it close behind
Kitty found a place beyond the crawlspace
I fear I'll never find
In body or in mind
In reason or in rhyme
Don't get caught in time
In body or in mind
In reason or in rhyme
Don't get caught in time

The Gray Man

THE GRAY MAN
The Gray Man takes the children
Sometimes he takes them on the weekend
Sometimes he takes them
With permission of their parents
'Cause he promises a party
There is a cottage in Wisteria
A place of death and mass hysteria
The feast begins before
The parents come to realize
Their child is oh so tardy
He sticks a pin inside himself
When devils haunt his world
To satisfy his Bloodlust
He must steal your boys and girls
He is the King of the Missing
His cheek a place of children kissing
His mind is festering with evil
But he hides it
Underneath his sad eye glances
He wrote a letter
Did you read it?
He wrote a list of the ingredients
He wrote the afternoon
Exactly as it happened
Grace never had a chance
(no chance)
He dances in the moonlight
Drenched in blood and bone and gore
The Werewolf of Wisteria
Was greeted at your door, and
You let him him
There was an emblem on the envelope
To find its origin's our only hope
The stationary thief resided
In the same room
That the Gray Man since had rented
He left in two months but he will return
Collecting money that his son has earned
And when you capture him
You'll realize that Albert Fish
Is far beyond demented
He's Deranged
Beyond a shadow of a doubt
He changed the world
The Werewolf of Wisteria
He ate your little girl
He stole dozens of children
'Cause he looked so soft and kind
But look inside his head, you'll see
The Gray Man's lost his mind, and
Your kids are next

NEWSPAPER
43 years ago today
I put your picture
In the Newspaper
'Cause you were missing
Last time that I thought about you
The Newspaper printed
An article on missing children
(printed this morning)
Where did you go to?
Did someone take you?
If you were free
Would you come back to me?
When you were leaving on the last train
I packed your lunch inside a bag
With your name printed on it
(on it on it on it on it)
The train arrived at destination
The lunch bag contents were uneaten
And you weren't there with it
(with it with it with it with it)
What happened to you?
Did something scare you?
Just make me happy
And come back to me
Would you come back to me? (x3)
Thought I saw your picture
In the Newspaper
I called Detective King
But it was not your picture
Guess I'll never give up looking
Until I find the answer
To the question
Are you living?
Where did you go to?
Did someone kill you?
If you were free (x3)
Would you come back to me?
