He likes to drink bongwater
It goes down good with his weed
And when he starts to get thirsty
Bongwater tends to his needs
At first the taste made him nauseous
But that did not last too long
Dry mouth no longer subdues him
He now drinks straight from the bong
And he finds
That he begins to lose his mind
The resin in the water
Sends a shiver down his spine
And he sits upon the sofa
And he's trying not to cry
But he can't stop thinking of her
And the day she waved goodbye
Goodbye
He used to sleep in her bedroom
He had no place of his own
But she was happy to have him
And then one night they walked home
And a car
Running through a red light
Ran into her
She tumbled across the pavement
Because the red light did not deter
The black car didn't touch him
And so he blames himself instead
Because he should have paid attention
But he didn't and now she's dead
She's dead
He likes to drink bongwater…
And he finds
That he begins to lose his mind
The resin in the water
Sends a shiver down his spine
And he sits upon the sofa
And he's trying not to cry
But he can't stop thinking of her
And the day she waved goodbye
Goodbye
