Caught red-handed by Saint Peter
Tried to deny it
But Good God sees everything
Since Hell and Heaven
Would not let me in
I headed to the place in-between
Purgatory Mountain, here I sit until I stop
Could be forever, could be never
Somewhere a Holy Jury
Comes to a decision
As I wait on Purgatory Mountain top
Cloudy weather rules my penance
Below the Mountain is a turbulent ocean
Up in the distance
Rays of light cut through the sky
So I stand before Good God like a man
Good God
I am so sorry that I labeled You bad
Please don't destroy me like the Sun
I am so sorry that I ended my life
But I think it was
The worst one I could ever have
The light falls on my face
And the power of His Grace
Makes me wish I never took my life
And threw it away
Then a consecrated Fountain
Emerges from the Mountain
And the Voice of God commands me:
"Hear what I say...
Take the Grail upon the Fountain
On Purgatory Mountain
And drink the Holy Water
That the Fountain supplies"
I obey the Holy Father
Drink the Holy Water
Then the Mountain starts to tremble
It's a sacred surprise
The consecrated Fountain
On Purgatory Mountain
Starts to crumble into pieces
Like the Mountain below
And the Voice of God commands me
To live my life again, He says:
"Man, you've got a long way to go"
