I've known her for more than a year now
I've never known the girl
For more than a year
When I was faced with a Judgment
God told me
I had to overcome my loneliness fears

God told me to stay out of Heaven
'Cause Heaven had no room
For killers like me
Instead my soul would
Remain on this planet
And live from Life to Life
In sadness and grief

The First time was a fall
The Eighth time was the worst of them all
The Ninth and Tenth and Eleventh
Were tragically sad in themselves

I ended it all with a razor
I didn't want to but I had to be free
I was labeled a blasphemous sinner
And watched Him take away
The same girl from me
(over and over again)

Cloudy weather today
But not one droplet of rain
Why do I feel like
I'm on Purgatory Mountain top?

Rays of light cut through the sky
The kind of thing that you
See when you die
But now I'm sensing
That the news isn't bad
This is the warmest feeling I've ever had

God asked me why I haven't tried to
Repeat the suicide that started the streak
I told Him though I've been
Sad and grief-stricken
I won't repeat the act that
Labeled me weak

Cloudy sky disappears
He knows I lost my loneliness fears
A long important Lesson has been
Lifted from my empty heart

God told me I never believed
Until He took all the sunshine from me
But now I'm older and I'm learning to live
He taught His Lesson
And He wants to forgive

He said the girl and I will not be reborn
We'll go to Heaven, not relive life forlorn
Although I don't know
If we're even or odd
I had a Reconciliation with God

Now I know, won't have to find her again
In different incarnations of the girl
'Cause we're both
We're both on our way to Heaven
